Hey there, it's Laura, CEO and founder of White Elm, here to share a glimpse into my weekend routine and how I make the most of my precious time with my family. As a working mom, weekdays can be extremely hectic, so when the weekend rolls around, it's all about soaking up those special moments with our loved ones.

One of my absolute favorite weekend activities is hopping on our bikes and cruising around the neighborhood with my kids. There's something magical about the wind in our hair and silliness we all have as we pedal along, exploring our surroundings and making memories together.

Of course, what's a weekend without a little retail therapy? I adore taking my girls on shopping excursions, whether we're browsing the latest fashion trends or hunting for treasures at our favorite local boutiques. It's not just about the purchases we make, but the bonding time we share as we chat about life, love, and everything in between.

Now, if we're looking for a bit more adventure, we try to take an off-roading escapade as a family! My husband, John, and our fearless daughters are always up for a rugged expedition into the great outdoors. From muddy trails to rocky terrain, we love nothing more than revving up our engines and embarking on thrilling off-road adventures as a family.

As an adult, it's hard to find a time that works with your friends to meet up. So when that calendar opens up for us, we take complete advantage and have a girls day when we can! Whether it's a sit on the couch and chat for hours or a lively gathering, I cherish the opportunity to connect with my nearest and dearest, swapping stories and sharing laughs.

My kids and I love to frequent a local bakery when we have a sweet tooth! It's such a cute little bakery and we always try something new -- everything has been a winner in our book!

Last but certainly not least, weekends are often filled with social events, from birthday parties to playdates. It's a joy to watch my daughters interact with their friends, forging bonds and creating memories that will last a lifetime. And let's be honest, us moms deserve a bit of socializing too!

So whether we're biking, shopping, off-roading, or simply spending quality time together, weekends are truly a gift to cherish. After all, our little ones won't stay little forever, so let's make every moment count!
